Lumberton is 10-0 against Bridge City since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Lumberton Raiders will look to defend their home pitch  against the Bridge City Cardinals at 7:00  p.m. Bridge City took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lumberton, who comes in off a win.
 On Tuesday, Lumberton's game  was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over Little Cypress-Mauriceville. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Lumberton.
 They hit Little Cypress-Mauriceville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Andrew Hansen, 
 Santi Troncoso,  and 
 Luke Cody.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to seven  goals the game before, Bridge City were a bit more limited  in their  game  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Vidor by a score of  1-0.
 Lumberton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-6. As for Bridge City, they now  have a losing record at 4-5-3.
 Lumberton took their  victory against Bridge City  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. Will Lumberton repeat their success,  or does  Bridge City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
