Starting off the list is Fairfield's Breckan Maran, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Maran rushed for 137 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Blake Metzger Makes It Two for Fairfield
The second Fairfield player making an appearance here is Blake Metzger, and for good reason. He rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
Metzger is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Churubusco on Friday. When Metzger last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry.
