Basketball Recap: Seabreeze Sets Scoring Season-High Against Crescent City

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seabreeze). They really took it to the Crescent City Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-44 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Sandcrabs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Leading Seabreeze to victory were Reece Casto and Jeremiah Outler. Casto went 8 for 11 on his way to 17 points in addition to eight boards and three steals, while Outler dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Outler a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Anthony, who posted 14 points and five rebounds.

Seabreeze's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Crescent City, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Seabreeze didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-40 win against Lake Mary Prep on the 9th. As for Crescent City, they will venture away from home to face off against Middleburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
