This season hasn't been kind to the Greenback Cherokees, who are still winless after their 15th match. They took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockwood on Thursday. If Greenback hoped to take revenge for the 55-50 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Ty'varion Pryor was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five rebounds for Rockwood. Pryor has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Darby, who scored ten points.
Greenback dropped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rockwood, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.
Greenback will look to defend their home court on Friday against Oakdale at 8:00 p.m. Oakdale is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Rockwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Harriman at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Harriman has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 483 points over their last seven matches.
