Benton Central's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Frontier Falcons as they made off with a 12-2 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bison as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Benton Central let Kennedy Dowell and Madison Minniear run wild. Dowell went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Minniear went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most runs Minniear has posted over her last 12 games. Izzy Adams was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Benton Central's win bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Frontier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benton Central will square off against Pioneer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
