The Randleman Tigers were the 65-46 winner over the Oak Grove Grizzlies when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Randleman received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 64-45 to Oak Grove. Randleman found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 18 to 5 on offense.
When it comes to explaining why Randleman lost, one person who can't be blamed is Audra Petty. Despite the final result, she shot 5-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds.
Among those leading the charge was Trista Charles, who scored 23 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Ray, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Randleman's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Oak Grove, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randleman will take on Asheboro at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Oak Grove, they will look to defend their home court on November 28th against East Surry at 6:30 p.m.
