Basketball Recap: Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Skates Past Cristo Rey Kansas City with Ease

Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy won against DeLaSalle Charter on Thursday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Rams claimed a resounding 56-15 win over the Cristo Rey Kansas City Pumas. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 50-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy to victory were Sabra Bergh and Gabrielle Sosland. Bergh dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 steals, while Sosland posted 24 points and seven steals. Bergh has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shefer Rudnick, who put up eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
