Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Maddux Blunt stepped things up a notch to give Prairie the 'W'. Blunt didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
