There's no place like home for the Bay Path RVT Minutemen, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Assabet Valley RVT with a sharp 46-26 win on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bay Path RVT also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Peter Barbale, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ed Simon, who scored six points.
Bay Path RVT pushed their record up to 6-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Assabet Valley RVT, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bay Path RVT will take on the Bernardians at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Assabet Valley RVT, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the at 6:30 p.m.
