On Thursday Trezevant take on King Prep at 7:00 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Trezevant have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Trezevant had a rough outing against Wooddale two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Trezevant got past Lexington with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 12-6.
Meanwhile, King Prep took a serious blow against Westview last week, falling 22-66. King Prep were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 22-52.
Trezevant's victory lifted them to 2-2 while King Prep's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Trezevant can add another positive mark to their record or if King Prep can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Trezevant's step.
