The DuVal Tigers won the last time they faced the Northwestern Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. DuVal simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northwestern 84-40 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-22.
Leading DuVal to victory were Amani Lett and Daniel Nwaete. Lett scored 15 points along with nine assists and six rebounds, while Nwaete dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christopher Mudd, who scored eight points along with five assists.
DuVal's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
DuVal will be home for the holidays to greet Riverdale Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Northwestern, they will head out on the road to face off against High Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
