Baseball Recap: Doral Academy Red Rock Takes a Loss

Doral Academy Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bonanza Bengals. The Dragons were not able to make up for their loss to the Bengals from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Sebastian Zaman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Doral Academy Red Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Bonanza, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-13.

Doral Academy Red Rock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-5 loss against Cheyenne on the 14th. As for Bonanza, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Eldorado on the 14th.
