Jackson has gone 9-1 against Lake Stevens recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Timberwolves will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Lake Stevens will be up against a hot Jackson squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Timberwolves put the hurt on Arlington with a sharp 10-3 win on Friday. With that victory, the Timberwolves brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Alana Banog (2028) made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kiana Holden (2025), who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mia Ediger (2026), who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Jackson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arlington only posted a batting average of .250.
Lake Stevens never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Cascade last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Bruins. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.
Charli Pugmire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks.
At the plate, Emerson Cummins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Alexis Osterholtz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Jackson pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Lake Stevens, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Jackson came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Stevens in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
