It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the North Platte Panthers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 46-12 victory over Crest Ridge/Chilhowee. The win was familiar territory for North Platte who now have eight in a row.
Liam Servaes was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
North Platte's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Crest Ridge/Chilhowee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
North Platte is on the road again on Friday and play against Windsor. Windsor knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully North Platte likes a good challenge. Crest Ridge/Chilhowee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
