Bay Tech won the last time they faced Golden State Prep, and things went their way on Thursday too. Bay Tech took down Golden State Prep 62-47.
Leading Bay Tech to victory were Cory Robinson and Rashawn Richard. Robinson scored 14 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds, while Richard dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Yandel Becerra, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Golden State Prep saw an underclassman step up: Biren Lowe scored 19 points. Antonio Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
The win got Bay Tech back to even at 1-1-1. As for Golden State Prep, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-2.
Bay Tech will head out on the road to face off against Madison Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Golden State Prep, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Oakland Military Institute at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
