If Caledonia was riding high fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Fillmore Central/Lanesboro on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Randolph Rockets by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Caledonia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Allen, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Allen has hit this season.

Caledonia's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Randolph, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Caledonia and Randolph should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings.
