After only 24 points in their last matchup, the Follett Panthers made sure to put some points up on the board against the Lefors Pirates on Friday. Everything went Follett's way against Lefors as Follett made off with a 60-34 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Follett has posted against Lefors since December 11, 2020.
Follett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kambri Braley, who scored 23 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Braley has scored all season. Kimber Wheatley was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Follett is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Lefors, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Follett will take on Miami at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lefors, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fort Elliott at 6:00 p.m.
