After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Branch, The Carrollton Warriors were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Minerva 34-0 on the road. Given Carrollton's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Minerva is ranked 646th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Carrollton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Minerva, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Carrollton will head out on the road to face off against Steubenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steubenville will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Minerva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
