The Roosevelt Teddies kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 54-33 walloping at the hands of Totino-Grace.
Despite the loss, Roosevelt still got an impressive performance from Olivia Wren, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaida Walker, who scored 11 points.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Totino-Grace, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Roosevelt will face off against Grand Rapids at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Totino-Grace, they will be playing at home against Visitation at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday.
