After losing to Roncalli Catholic the last time they met, Bennington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Badgers blew past the Crimson Pride 10-4 on Friday. The Badgers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Dominic Mendocino tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate, Bennington got a big performance out of  Hunter Spencer, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Kellen Mlnarik, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Bennington  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roncalli Catholic only posted  an  OBP of  .353.
The  victory made it two in a row for Bennington and  bumps their season record up to 17-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Roncalli Catholic, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-10.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bennington will  face off against  rival Omaha Northwest  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile, Roncalli Catholic is set to  take on  their familiar foe Omaha Central  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
