The San Diego Jewish Academy Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against Classical Academy as San Diego Jewish Academy made off with a 76-52 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for San Diego Jewish Academy.
San Diego Jewish Academy found their leader in underclassman Jack Silberstein, who scored 19 points along with seven blocks and six rebounds. The game was Silberstein's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ethan Abeles was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Despite the loss, Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Issac Davis, who scored 23 points. Davis scored a full 44.2% of Classical Academy's points, the 13th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Crandall, who scored seven points.
San Diego Jewish Academy pushed their record up to 7-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.33 points. As for Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Diego Jewish Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Del Lago Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 10th. Classical Academy will take on Tri-City Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri-City Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
