Immaculate Conception is 0-3 against Ramapo since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Even though East Orange Campus scored an imposing 69 points on Thursday, Immaculate Conception still came out on top. Immaculate Conception secured a 74-69 W over East Orange Campus.
Meanwhile, Ramapo had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They took down Newark Tech 70-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ramapo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peyton Seals, who scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Wyatt Eglinton manner was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Immaculate Conception pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ramapo, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Immaculate Conception lost to Ramapo on the road by a decisive 76-58 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Immaculate Conception avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
