The Hinton Comets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Lookeba-Sickles 73-36 on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Hinton as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Lookeba-Sickles saw an underclassman step up: Bryan Leon scored 16 points.
Hinton's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Lookeba-Sickles, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-21.
Hinton will head out on the road to challenge Hobart at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hinton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 284th, while Hobart is ranked 50th). Lookeba-Sickles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
