Fort Morgan's defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.6 points per game. As for Northfield, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Fort Morgan will head out on the road to face off against Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lutheran's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Northfield, they will be playing at home against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
