Crestline extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-9. They came up short against the Mansfield Christian Flames, falling 16-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flames this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 on Monday.

Kylie Kelly was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases and two runs. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Kenidy Bedson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
As for Mansfield Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.
On Mansfield Christian's side, Bailee Nelson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Nelson was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jael Sterken was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaci Pollard, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Crestline will face off against Lucas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mansfield Christian, they will take on Hiland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
