They took down Providence Day 50-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ardrey Kell also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2018.
Ardrey Kell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Autumn Washington, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Washington is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Molly Burns was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Despite the loss, Providence Day still got an impressive performance from Jaida Mcclure, who scored 24 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Caroline Swinson, who scored 6 points.
Ardrey Kell's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Providence Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Ardrey Kell will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Charlotte Catholic at 6:00 p.m. As for Providence Day, they will head out on the road to face off against High Point Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
