Overland scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Grandview, 42-14. At the time, the Wolves were ranked seventh in the state, while the Trailblazers were 36th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Overland, who defeated seventh ranked Grandview, 42-14. Austin Conway threw for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 122 yards in the win.
Eaglecrest's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Elijah Ross threw for 234 and 2 touchdowns and Anthony Karmazyn had 145 yards receiving. On the ground Aaric Witt contributed 162 yards. Witt helped Eaglecrest's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 50 yards.

Simona O Bard Tuilaepa made the biggest impact on defense this week as Eaglecrest bested the Buffaloes. The 5-foot-8 sophomore grabbed 3 sacks.

Overland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trailblazers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Conway has thrown for 1,407 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Khalil Jenkins has 25 catches for 487 yards. Conway also leads the league in rushing with 758 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Cherokee Trail and John Schultz's team. The Cougars enters the contest ranked eighth in the state, while the Wolves ranks ninth.
Seth Replogle's team's Conway recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Grandview last week. Conway's team bested the Wolves as he sprinted for 65 yards on the play and finished with 122 in all.
