Beaver River put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Lyme Central Lakers 19-2. The Beavers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Beaver River's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lyme Central, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Beaver River will venture away from home to take on Belleville Henderson Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Beavers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lyme Central, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Sackets Harbor Central at 1:00 p.m. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lakers surely won't give up without a fight.
