Overton got a  massive  performance out of  Julian Tallent, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and five  RBI. Those  five  RBI gave  Tallent a new career-high.  Marquel Brooks was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Overton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .714. Their  OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .519 that Memphis Business Academy posted.
Overton's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Memphis Business Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the  loss, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Coming up, Overton will be playing in front of their home fans against Memphis Central  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Memphis Business Academy, they will venture away from home to  take on Sheffield  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Memphis Business Academy is facing Sheffield at the right time seeing as Sheffield is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
