After soaring high against Telstar last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Saturday. Traip were given a punishing 0-38 defeat at the hands of Maranacook. If Traip were expecting to get some payback for the 12-48 defeat against Maranacook the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Traip back to even at 1-1. The victory bumped Maranacook's record up to 2-0.
Next week Traip take on Dirigo at 7:00 PM. Maranacook will be staying on the road, facing off against Sacopee Valley.
