The Bristol Warriors will face off against the Holy Cross Crusaders at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bristol 1.4, Holy Cross 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Bristol's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past The Christian Academy 23-0. Considering the Warriors have won 14 games by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey McIlvaine looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2025.
At the plate, Bristol got a massive performance out of Peyton McClain, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Amirah Bell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple.
Bristol always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .000.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Holy Cross ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Western Wayne 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won six matchups in a row.
AVA SCHMIDT spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, MCKINLEY GRIFFITHS was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of LILA KOLCHARNO, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Bristol, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bristol hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .594. However, it's not like Holy Cross struggles in that department as they've averaged .416. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bristol skirted past Holy Cross 2-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2019. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
