The Fort Osage Indians took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 83-19 victory over Guadalupe Centers. With Fort Osage ahead 50-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Cruz Navarro was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 18 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Woodward, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals.
Fort Osage's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Guadalupe Centers, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Osage will take on Excelsior Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Guadalupe Centers, they will head out on the road to face off against Frontier School of Excellence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
