Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shady Spring). They secured a 56-52 W over the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Shady Spring's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Woodrow Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Shady Spring will face off against Varsity Opponent on Friday. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on University at 2:45 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
