Lea Neff put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ryan Owenson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI and one triple. Lucy Myers was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
