The Altamont Longhorns's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-49 to Wendover, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Altamont has not had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Tre Tangaro was a one-man wrecking crew for Wendover as he scored 18 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tangaro has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Efren Delmuro, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Altamont's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Wendover, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Tabiona the next time they take the court. Wendover will head out to face Tabiona at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Altamont will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
