The Quantico Warriors lost against the Wakefield School Fighting Owls back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Quantico was dealt a 46-6 loss at the hands of Wakefield School. Quantico has not had much luck with Wakefield School recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Olivia Barry was Quantico's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Wakefield School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joelle Domfeh, who scored 8 points along with 10 steals. Domfeh is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aya Mason, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Quantico's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wakefield School, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Quantico will look to defend their home court on December 13th against The Carmel School at 4:30 p.m. As for Wakefield School, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at Meadow View at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
