Campo Verde won the last time they faced Mountain Pointe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Coyotes blew past the Pride 9-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Coyotes.

Addyson Armstrong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Anna Zehring was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Reaghann Ritz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Zehring wasn't the only one making solid contact: Campo Verde kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain Pointe only managed six hits.

Campo Verde picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 7-13. As for Mountain Pointe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Campo Verde will face off against Canyon View at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Coyotes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 14.1 runs per game this season. As for Mountain Pointe, they will square off against Maricopa at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.44 runs per game on average), something the Pride will no doubt try to take advantage of.
