The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Freeport's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Dawson Gaillot, Sean Selinger, and Danny King picked up one apiece. Gaillot is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season.
Highlands now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Freeport, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
Things could have been worse for Highlands, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 14-0 loss to Freeport in their previous matchup back in October of 2015. Can Highlands avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
