Meanwhile, Phoebus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-7 to Woodside.
Kadence Bone was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Dasha Edmonds also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
