Bridges Prep will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Thursday, then bounced right back against Beaufort Academy on Thursday. Bridges Prep put the hurt on Beaufort Academy with a sharp 4-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Buccaneers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 goals the game before, Whale Branch was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Battery Creek, falling 7-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Dolphins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Whale Branch's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Bridges Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went Bridges Prep's way against Whale Branch when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Bridges Prep made off with a 9-0 victory.
