It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams can now relate to. They were dealt a 60-20 defeat at the hands of the Raiders on Wednesday. David Posnack Jewish Day found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post nine fewer assists than your opponent.
Sophia Klein was David Posnack Jewish Day's leading scorer, having posted ten points.
Lila Greenberg held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Ransom Everglades' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Holly Clement, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Clement has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriela Pena, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
David Posnack Jewish Day has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Ransom Everglades, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.
David Posnack Jewish Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ransom Everglades' road trip will continue as they head out to face Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart on February 9th. Ransom Everglades is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
