The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this matchup were averaging 3.95 runs allowed.

Olivia Watt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Caldwell brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 19-5 margin over Columbia on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Kloe Fogle was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Liliana Hernandez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
Caldwell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Bishop Kelly's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for Caldwell, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.
Saturday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bishop Kelly hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .408. However, it's not like Caldwell struggles in that department as they've averaged .318. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
