Marcus posted their closest victory since January 17th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 win over the Lake Travis Cavaliers. The victory was familiar territory for the Marauders, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Marcus' record now sits at 10-3. As for Lake Travis, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Marcus will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Colleyville Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Lake Travis, they will take on Hutto at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
