Trenton will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Lexington at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Trenton, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Trenton had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 7-55 to Lathrop.
Meanwhile, Lexington took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against Quincy Notre Dame last Friday 32-22.
Lexington's win lifted them to 1-0 while Trenton's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Lexington can add another positive mark to their record or if Trenton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Lexington's step.
