After two weeks on the road, Shullsburg is heading back home. On Friday they take on Hillsboro at 7:00 PM. Neither Shullsburg nor Hillsboro could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
Shullsburg came into their this week averaging 34.83 points per game, but Shullsburg fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-27 punch to the gut against Pecatonica/Argyle last Saturday. Shullsburg's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the match before.
Meanwhile, Hillsboro have to be aching after a bruising 0-26 loss to Brookwood. Hillsboro were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-20.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
