With a playoff game on the line, Mobile Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-10 margin over the Raiders. Fans of Mobile Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Mobile Christian found their leader in underclassman PJ Brown, who rushed for 235 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, while Trinity Presbyterian put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Flomaton. Trinity Presbyterian breezed by Flomaton on the road to the tune of 35-0. Trinity Presbyterian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Ross Sanders was his usual excellent self, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Sanders is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played. Walker Mcclinton was another key contributor, throwing for 214 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes.
Their wins bumped Mobile Christian to 12-0 and Houston Academy to 10-2.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Friday's game as Mobile Christian and Trinity Presbyterian haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Mobile Christian commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 5.8 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Trinity Presbyterian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 per game. With these two high-octane teams facing off on Friday, fans should be in for an exciting offensive matchup.
