The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brandon in their matchups with Clinton: they've now lost four in a row.
Brandon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nate White, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The match was White's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Braylon Barnes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Clinton, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 6-0 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brandon will take on Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will head out on the road to face off against Raymond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Raymond will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
