Meanwhile, Humble Christian can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match last Friday. They breezed by Family Christian on the road to the tune of 49-11. With Humble Christian ahead 29-2 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Humble Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Bledsoe out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bledsoe has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lilly McMullen, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Second Baptist University-Model's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-7. As for Humble Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Second Baptist University-Model didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Humble Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 43-37 win.
