Having just played yesterday, the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks will jump right back in to play the Prince George's Christian Academy Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Miller School of Albemarle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 81.2 points per game this season.
On Tuesday, Miller School of Albemarle was fully in charge, breezing past Tandem Friends 88-53. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Miller School of Albemarle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaiden Hunter out in front who went 6-for-9 to rack up 17 points and four steals. That's the most steals Hunter has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Amare Long, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Miller School of Albemarle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Prince George's Christian Academy lost 54-32 to Varsity Opponent on Sunday. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Miller School of Albemarle will have to keep a close watch on Wisdom Carter and Grant Fort, a pair of players who had a big impact on Prince George's Christian Academy's prior game. Carter shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points, while Fort put up six points and five boards. Carter has also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.
Prince George's Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Miller School of Albemarle has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Prince George's Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 21 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Miller School of Albemarle barely slipped by Prince George's Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 53-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
