The Oak Forest Warriors came into Saturday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their game at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 56-29 win over DASH. That's another feather in the cap for Oak Forest, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several United players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Levi Harrell, who scored eight points. Jason Judd was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Oak Forest's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10. As for DASH, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Forest will face off against Wake Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. DASH's road trip will continue as they head out to face Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on February 6th. DASH is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
